Step aboard the famous land-based cruise at the much-loved Tynedale Hotel in Llandudno, where every day brings a brand-new destination! From Hawaiian beach parties and Texas hoedowns to Viking celebrations and Venetian masquerades, this unforgettable mock cruise combines all the fun of life at sea with the comfort of staying on dry land.
The Tynedale Hotel has been delighting guests with its legendary “Landlubbers Cruise” experience for over 35 years. Expect themed entertainment, fantastic food, exciting activities, laughter and plenty of nautical nonsense as the crew transport you around the world without ever leaving North Wales!
Day 1
We depart in the morning and travel to Llandudno, arriving at the Tynedale Hotel where our cruise adventure begins in Honolulu, Hawaii! After receiving your cruise passport, enjoy tea, coffee and freshly baked cake while luggage is delivered to your cabin. Later, join the famous Aloha Sail Away Beach Party with tropical entertainment, fruit canapés and a complimentary Blue Hawaiian cocktail. Following the Cruise Director's welcome and safety briefing, enjoy a Hawaiian-inspired dinner in the Trans-Atlantic Restaurant before evening entertainment and a late-night finger buffet.
Day 2
Today we arrive in Houston, Texas! After breakfast, we enjoy an included day excursion before returning to the hotel later this afternoon for tea, coffee and traditional pecan pie. This evening, join the lively Texas Hoedown featuring country-style fun, music and dancing before a delicious Texas Smokehouse Dinner. Live entertainment follows, along with a late-night buffet.
Day 3
Welcome to Copenhagen, Denmark! Following breakfast, we head out on another included day excursion before returning to the hotel this afternoon for Danish pastries, tea and coffee. Later, enjoy Viking-themed activities and entertainment before joining the Great Viking Beer Festival with music, laughter and themed fun. A Nordic-inspired dinner is served this evening, followed by cabaret entertainment and the Best Viking Costume Competition.
Day 4
Our final destination is the beautiful city of Venice, Italy. Start the day with a Buck's Fizz Breakfast before enjoying free time in Llandudno to explore at your own pace. This afternoon, return to the hotel for Italian pastries and photo opportunities with the gondoliers before the Captain's Venetian Masquerade Reception - the grand finale of our voyage. Dress in your finest attire for the Captain's Gala Dinner, followed by spectacular evening cabaret entertainment and the final late-night buffet.
Day 5
After a leisurely breakfast, we will make our way home, with comfort stops en route.
