Scotland Explorer - Lewis & Skye Hebridean Highlig

Day 1

Head into Scotland to your overnight hotel.

Day 2

Heading north, we travel via Loch Lomond and Ben Nevis to the Isle of Skye, stopping in Fort William and for a photo stop at the iconic Eilean Donan Castle before arriving at the Dunollie Hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 3

Travel via the Cuillin Hills into the heart of the Isle of Skye and enjoy a visit to Dunvegan Castle & Gardens, the seat of the Clan MacLeod and the oldest continually occupied castle in Scotland. This afternoon, we visit the island's 'capital', Portree, with its Aros Centre and picturesque natural harbour.

Day 4

Head past the Old Man of Storr and through the Trotternish Peninsula, famous for its spectacular geological features to Uig for the ferry to Tarbert on the Isle of Harris. Head through spectacular island scenery to the Cabarfeidh Hotel in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis for a 2 night stay.

Day 5

Enjoy a full day with a local guide exploring the Isle of Lewis, with visits to the Callanish Stones, one of the finest prehistoric sites in Scotland, the historic Broch at Carloway and the Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, with its traditional thatched croft houses.

Day 6

Enjoy free time to explore Stornoway before taking the afternoon ferry to Ullapool for our overnight stay.

Day 7

After breakfast, we depart Ullapool and journey south through the spectacular Highland scenery. Sit back and enjoy the ever-changing landscapes as we make our way to Lockerbie for our final overnight stay.

Day 8

Sadly, it is time to leave Scotland today, so sit back and relax on your journey home.
