Travel to your hotel for a 4-night stay.
Day 2
Today we enjoy an included guided tour of Suffolk's picturesque villages and market towns. Discover Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Stradishall, Clare, Cavendish, Long Melford and Lavenham, each offering their own unique charm, timber-framed buildings and rich history. This afternoon, we include entry to the historic Lavenham Guildhall.
Day 3
Today we head to Suffolk's Heritage Coast and the charming seaside town of Aldeburgh, with its unspoilt beach, colourful fishermen's huts and attractive high street. This afternoon, we enjoy a relaxing cruise along the beautiful River Deben.
Day 4
Be inspired and enjoy a slower pace of life, with visits to nearby Dedham, home to the Munnings Art Museum and an arts & craft centre, and East Bergholt, the picturesque village of East Bergholt, closely associated with the artist John Constable. This afternoon we visit Colchester, officially Britain's oldest recorded town, home to Roman remains, a huge Norman castle keep and timber-framed cottages.
Day 5
Time to reluctantly head for home
