The Ibis Styles York
is located on The Mount in York, a short bus journey into the historic centre. The hotel re-opened in 2025 after a full refurbishment and features a stylish on-site bar for drinks and relaxation in the evening, and a buffet breakfast each morning to set you up for the day. Comfortable guest rooms feature air-conditioning, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities, desk and flat-screen TV.

Day 1

We travel north, making suitable comfort stops en route before arriving at our hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 2 & 3

You have two free days to enjoy York at your leisure. Stroll through the Snickleways, explore galleries and museums, visit the bustling shopping streets, or relax in one of the many wine bars and restaurants.

York Minster, the Old Palace & The Undercroft, JORVIK Viking Centre and River Ouse Cruises. Stroll along The Shambles, one of the best-preserved medieval streets in the world, or visit the National Railway Museum, home to over 300 years of railway history, including the famous Mallard engine that broke the world speed record for steam trains in 1938.

Day 4

Sadly, it is time to head for home, with plenty of comfort stops along the way.
